Barrier Reef in support of PSAS

Folks....it's threads like this that cause a strain in the relationship between the PSAS and the sponsors that can ultimately result in a loss of sponsorship. When a store steps up to help out the PSAS we should not be posting anything but thanks and perhaps suggestions on improving....no negative posts. Negative posts in a thread started to help out the club is unreal. What can this possibly help????

Cy, thank you to all at BR that have helped us and to the store as a whole for continually helping the club out (even when it doesn't help you...we need to work together to change that).

Cy I am sorry the e-mail did not get sent out like you requested, we did post the sale on our website. With all of the "going ons" I think we dropped the ball on that step, and I apologize and pledge to follow up on those details more carefully in the future.

The PSAS truly values our relationship with Barrier Reef and even if this does not result in anything for the club we appreciate the goodwill behind the action.

Its ok. I know there is a lot going on with the club right now. I just see how effective our mailing list is and know it would help Thought I would bring it up just to reiterate its importance. We can try again when things are less chaotic.

We still have until closing tonight but this fundraiser has been a bust so far. Zero rics sold My original request was for a thread and an email. The email was never sent. The PSAS's real marketing power, which benefits the stores most, is your email list. For future sale announcements and fundraisers to be effective, I would use this tool. Just a suggestion and obviously it is your choice to make

Your right regarding the E-mailings Cy. We, as a new BOD are still working out some kinks in workload but will get things taken care of in short order. We'll try to be a more effective marketing tool for you and all of our sponsors that are offering things like this for us. Thank you very much for the very kind gesture in support of us once again.

Yes, Reedman did speak his mind regarding this very well. In fact, there have been a few threads in the PSAS forums lately that have been quite turpid. Here is a sig line form a RF longtimer that we all need to remind ourselves of sometimes
