Yes, you want the redundancy as well ... but you already know that I think. If a GFCI on one circuit pops while away ... extremely rare I know .. you get some redundancy. I have two 15A circuits plus one 20A circuit serving my 240 system. You want to have the flexibility to buy that 1/2 HP chiller in the future etc.
