I would listen to DonW and some of the others and just do water changes. The last thing you want to do is run the calc reactor or drip Kalk. Dripping kalk well raise your dkh along with calc. You seem to be fixed on maintaining a high ph. A lot o9f people who are running calc reactors have a ph of 7.8 at nite and run about 7.9 to 8.0 during the day. Randy H. Farley says anything above 7.8 is fine. I got caught up in the same thing you did when I first started using a calc reactor, I was trying to keep my ph up and got everything out of whack. You do not have to maintain a ph of 8.2-4, 7.8 or above and everything well do fine.
