Here is a side shot of my previous tank. When I swapped it out I found tons of stuff that wasnt being exported. Thats pretty much why I decided no rock against the wall.

Is that a Angel Fish in the back of your tank Donw? :D

Good point you make on the wall. Did you have any water movement back there? I plan on having spray bars on a closed loop to keep that from happening.

Dude the tank is looking great!!!

On my litle tank I have a powerhead pointed behind the rock work to keep "stuff" from settling. On the new tank though I am not planning to keep much rock close to the walls....

Hey Don, looks like the tank is coming right along! I was wondering if you ever ended up getting a gigas clam? I didn't see any. Lots of nice clams in there I love it :D If you ever frag that A. Humulis in the top left let me know haha.

Tom,

No Gigas yet. When I do find one that galaxia will have to go. Hopefuly those corals will need trimming someday.

Its really tough to keep every spot clean. My goal was to just have to syphon off the front (easy part). So far so good, but there's something like 4K GPH directed on the tank floor alone.

I'd guess around 9 months old and the mess just keeps growing. After the WC tank and automation the cabinet work will go in and I can finish my floor.
