I have 2 different colors of frog spawn and the darker one has been looking really sick lately. There is a couple of heads that are missing half of the polyps . Yesterday morning I found 3 of my peppermint shrimp eating it . I don’t want to get rid of the shrimp, but is there any way to save the frog spawn? I have tried moving it in the tank but they still found it. They don’t seem to want to eat the lighter color frog spawn . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are they eating other foods? Maybe start target feeding them with a pipet away from the frogspawn to try to get them used to eating in another location.

Amonia method

Jonah,

Shrimp don't like amonia. I had a similar problem and I used dog training tactics to train them. Urine is the most natural source of concentrated amonia.
Fill a turkey baster with urine and wait the shrimp to start their bad behavior. Then squirt them with the "amonia". After a few attempts they will associate the bad behavior with "amonia" and dicontinue.

lol JK! folks
Bump for more help
