small polyp stoney. LPS is large polyp stoney. They both have different requirements. Some people keep it strictly SPS, or LPS, or mixed like Snappy's.

Also, can you give me a close up of the "greenish" clam on the left? I have the same one i think, and i have never seen another one.

Thanks, I actually am not using a reactor. I intended on buying one this summer but haven't got around to it yet. Presently I am just dosing.

I haven't decided which is a bigger money drain. It's always something with one or the other of them or both.:rolleyes:
 
I'd go with the reef tank any day over a car! ;) Unless I could sell the car for a profit, buy a bigger and nicer tank. Your tank is really beautiful. What are you using to dose? Is it manual or by pump? I recently heard it's a bad idea to dose CA/ALK even in a high flow area. I personally haven't had any problems with it. I don't want to find out the hard way though.
