Hi everyone,
I am new to saltwater but not to keeping fish. My tanks range from 150 down to 10. I took the saltwater plunge after a lot of resistance (I am one who has to know everything before jumping in) after seeing a 30 gallon tank, stand, and two Ocellaris Clownfish for a good price on CL. I have been learning as much as I can in the last week and have been adding new equipment to the tank and making minor changes and cleaning. I did get some dry rock yesterday but after it got wet, it smelled strongly of a house that has been smoked in for years so I will be putting it in some saltwater with a power head for awhile. Still looking for rock in the mean time as my fiance picked out a bunch of mismatched pieces:rolleyes: Anyhow, it is nice to "meet" all of you

Well, welcome to Reef Frontiers
Its about time you took the plunge into saltwater. Hope you enjoy it. Any questions, just post them up. Everyone is happy to help where they can.
Look forward to meeting you one day.

Welome to RF! I'm in Granite and I have some extra rock not any huge pieces but some that would be decent sized for your tank. You are welcome to come pick up a few pounds. This is clean dry rock that I gave an acid bath and then put in storage so pest free.
