I have 4 blue lip clownfish, also called wide band clownfish, latz clownfish, amphiprion latezonatus. The dominant female lives in the center of the tank in a large carnation anemone. The right side of my tank has a female hosting in an elegance coral. The left side of my tank has a small pair hosting in a rose bubble anemone. Their was turmoil this morning as the female from the right was in the left corner. She took a beating & didn't want to cross the center of the tank. I used a spatula to chase her & balance was restored.

My 240: 8'x2'x2'. Mixed lighting. Recently had 3 of 4 lumatek ballast die. Warranty has expired. Purchased my first led off ebay & plan on replacing my other metal halides. I have 8 koralia 1050 powerheads. I tried them on a wave maker but they break. Koralia addressed this issue & came out with their newer model. I'm going to give sicce powerheads a try as I hear they are quite & actually work on a wave maker. Protein skimmer is a SRO5000ext with self cleaning head. Sump is a 100 gallon rubbermaid stock tank with live rock & sump sock. 40 gallon breeder for a refugium.

I have a small trigger that has taking a liking to apstasia. I didn't think they ate them. My 75 appears to be apstasia free! He will soon be moved to another tank as He has more work to do.

I have a large protein skimmer that I haven't been running at optimal levels. I use a 5 gallon bucket for waste collection. I have had my skimmer overfill it so I have the skimmer dialed down. I finally bought a shut off float, coralvue fw110. Now I can increase my waste collection without worrying about flooding the basement. I also cleaned my skimmer & it was gross! Working great now!

I think my skimmer is HUGE! It stands 31" tall. Its a super reef octopus 5000 ext. Its on my 240 tank / 100 sump / 40 refugium.

That's a great picture. I'm still waiting for my tank to get a bit more established then I will get a nem for my clowns to host.

My dominate blue lip clownfish has gone through some color changes as she matures. Her tail fin was mostly yellow last February. Now it's almost all black. her dorsal fin has also changed & gained yellow color.
