I rescued this about six months ago and it was the size of a dime it grew very very quickly to half dollar ,no not coin but like a ripped dollar .then when i changed light and don't get me wrong it was bad really bad 10k to 18k .so that may be a little of cause. but should still polyp right??? Well that is what it was doing with some light to heavy feeding every other to two days on Cyclopese spelling:doubt:??? well now i don't see that any more polyp's so please chime in often thanks, will

wow that's is it all right thank that made it no brain-er ha ha ha no pun intended ...THIS IS WHY I LOVE THIS SITE NOTHING BETTER PERIOD!!!!
 
If I may. I have a few of them. I don't always see polyps. Most of the time they pop out at night ( like big time ). The coral will puff up in the day. Mine sit at the bottom of the tank 24". I run 3 400w and 2 VHOS.Give it time. Thats awsome your saving it Keep it up. Here are a few pics of mine.

Tracy, I agree the detritus in the sand is great food sourse for LPS. Yours look like healthy acans in lieu of his Favite though.

And It is Tracy who is the man. Some day my tank might look like his. He has taught me everything I know about corals and birds and bees, wait, I am confusing him with my dad. Nevermind...
