Want to see a flood? If you skimmer has a gate valve to control the water level, just close it:lol:

Clean the crack out as best you can. Get some weld-on #4 and let seep into the crack by capillary action. It will weld it together as good as new. If that doesn't work, use #16 as mentioned earlier. Geez, don't panic already. Easy fix.

Tom...I'm not sure yet. I'm the kind of person who likes to try different things so it will be a different brand when I go to do it. I'm leaning mostly towards a Euroreef so we'll see. The reason I haven't ordered anything yet is because firstly, the skimmer isn't leaking one bit so no real need to change it and secondly, I don't really have the time right now to pull down the sump to cut out that shelf the AquaC sits on and make something new to elevate another type of skimmer so I'm waiting it about a bit until we are fully settledwith the baby, and we move our business to the other location which should be done by the end of the month
