Id please?

Im not sure where to post this...lol. We have a fish, invertibrate, and coral section. But nothing for algae. Assuming thats what this is. Any ideas? Its dark brown, about 1/4" thick, and spongy/jello feeling. Doesnt have any kind of smell(im a smeller!...hahaha), and peels off. Its not all over my tank, seems to stay on the rock in the light and in good flow areas.

So i got some kind of algae from new zeland?

grows in warm waters. I think its also found in florida.
