Whatever you do, DON'T put corals in there, cause they'll suck up those additives! Now that you have calcium at target level, you wouldn't want to ruin all that hard work by adding corals.

I checked the parameters again tonight after using half the doseage from the first night and it seems half, is the magic doseage for now...Everything was the same except for 2 things. Not sure what it means, but is still within the range. Here are tonights numbers...

Calcium - 425 (last night 425)
Magnesium - 1290 (last night 1290)
Alk - 3.66 (last night 3.43)
DKH - 10.2 (last night 9.6)

So it was just the alk and dkh that went up. I have no idea what it means, but the sun is shinning in the Bahamas

hey how come you're not telling us your ph and phosphates i mean if you're gonna make me jelous then you might as well do it completely .

LOL...I don't have a phosphate test kit, but seeing there is no algae or cyno anywhere, why test for it and ph stays at 8.3 (atleast whenever I test which is usally when I get home from work). I need to test it since using the B-Ionic. Thanks for reminiding me.

DKH is carbonate hardness I believe. If I am wrong, I am sorry. You must be using a Salifert kit.

Yessir, dKH and Alk are the same thing, just metric/standard.
