i used nikon D200 +macro nikkor105 and was CS4,,now back to CS3.

CS3 read RAW file and convert to final process at on one shot,no need to export from lit room,i am have light room 2,i don't even used.
CS4 is great for video editing,,feature of photo editing is pretty much the same as CS3,oh well but little more convience on menu bars on CS4,but i got used to CS3,,,JMO

i am using D200 nikon and 105 nikon macro lens,,but canon had a great camera and Tamaron had agreat macro lens,,it will not cost your arm and leg,to fit your buget ,,might want to check out compare the price and capibillity bt this two brand Nikon and Canon,,those two will produce a great picture.
