I had a bad case of "the cyano" but it is starting to subside. I think it was due to the marco rocks. Actually... the fact that I was too impatient to cure them as long as I should have...

That was how it looked for 2 weeks. I was running Phosguard and blowing it off the rocks twice a week. I switch last weekend to Rowa phos and now there's a ton of improvement.

I got several new fish as well.

Okay, I have to say this is the most amazing rockwork I have ever seen. Any idea how long it will take for this rock to host as much beneficial life as live rock?

Thanks for the compliment... dieden. It has some pods and bristle worms already. I am adding a refugium soon so I really think that in another 3 months or so... It should be just like live rock.

Some updates...

I got 13 BG Chromis' at Barrier this weekend for 99 cents a piece. I put 10 in the 220 to go with the 5 I already had... and 3 in my 54 gallon which had one. I also got 2 cleaner shrimp and 3 emerald crabs.

Well... the babies hatched. 18 of them came out last Wednesday night. It's Monday morning and there are still 18. Knock on wood.
