Where are you getting that done?

21st Century Plastics

Is that going to do anything for air exchange in your tank???

I will still have the back open, but I probably going to get a skimmer in the next week or so anyways. But unfortunately, they cut my cover wrong! So now I have to go back tomorrow and have them cut me a new one, which only stresses me out since I finally got my flasher....

Got my cover cut but still needs a bit of trimming but here is my main problem, any ideas on how to resolve this?

Yeah I had the same problem when I used tops. Maybe if you used one of those fans that clip on the tank edge, it would clear it up. I think they are used for pulling out heat.

My solution...

I will probably switch over to the BRS clear 1/4" screen but this will do for now.

and the reason for the cover!

Still haven't seen the yasha, I am losing hope that he is still alive. The flasher wrasse is doing great, eats like a pig and is best friends with the clowns.

Lights are now cranked up to:
White: 45%
Royal Blue: 65%
Blue: 65%

I have switched to Lagoon mode on my mp10, just to see how the coral reacts. I will do water tests later on tonight.

Well after the Yasha has been missing for 3 entire weeks, he finally came out of hiding! Still hasn't meet up with his pistol packing partner but eventually he should.

Well, Kelan, if it is any consolation, I have not seen my watchman goby in the refugium in 3 weeks either, but he will show. I just recently discovered that my pair of Blood Red Shrimp is still intact. They both disappeared after the hurricane went thru last May, and just recently 1 shpwed back up , and 3 weeks later the other one showed, so miracles do happen.

Well I have been slacking, sorry guys! Anyways nothing much new with the tank until yesterday, decided to try out a skimmer(CPR BakPak 2). So far it is doing decent, first 18 hours it was spitting lots of micro bubbles into the display but it has ceased and skimming quite nicely so far. Still tweaking it here and there but hopefully my SPS will be happier. I am curious as to if this will help up my PH some, I will do a whole battery of tests tonight. Figured you guys needed some pictures first....

Hey Kelan . . . welcome to the club! I've popped in to your tank thread a few times to see what you're doing, and it looks good so far! You've got great enthusiasm for this hobby, and you're in good hands with those that have been helping you here. I can see that it might cost you some beer here some day . . . that goes with the territory with Charlie. He will make you pay somehow  but it's worth it. Just get some good corals out of him, eh? Love Love the LEDs. Keep posting updates!

Oh gee thx Kim................................lol. Kelan, the Ph problems could have alot to do with no windows being open around the house, maybe there is alot of CO2 buildup. The skimmer will help, but crack a window just cuz. As far as the skimmer goes, it was just breaking in, you are lucky it only took a day and a half for the bubbles to go away, I have had new plumbing to up to a week to slime up. Good luck man. :):)

I try and keep my windows open for a few hours each day. I just have never been able to get my PH above 7.9 which is not a big deal but I will still like to get it up. I will post pictures of todays skim mate just for giggles...

BTW last nights tests were
