hello all,
I'm Russ, I've currently got a 75gal mixed Reef tank up and running a little over 2 years (torn down and moved across the house about 6 weeks ago)

I had a pretty bad system crash a few months ago (power failure while out of town, return pump didn't re-start, I got home and the display tank was 62* with Sal of 1.032)
lost several fish, and soft corals.

we used this as an excuse to tear the tank down and move it into the dining room
only fish we kept were the pair of GSM clowns (we've had them for a little over 2 years)
(traded in/donated all other fish (including a Fat-Ass bully of a Sailfin Tang)

currently, the tank consists of:
- ODYSSEA 760 Watts of lighting (2x250w Metal Halide, 4x65w PC actinic)
- ECO 1056 GPH return pump
- ASM Mini "G" Protein skimmer
- 24watt UV Sterilizer "Green Killing Machine"
- CPR Medium HOB Refugium
- 120 lbs of "Live Rock" 50 lbs "Live Sand"
- Korilia Evo 1050gph powerhead

Livestock:
- Pair of GSM clowns http://www.marinecenter.com/fish/clownfish/maroonclownfishyellowstripepair/
- RBTA http://www.marinecenter.com/inverts/anemones/roseanemone/
- African Midas Blenny http://www.marinecenter.com/fish/blennies/midasblennygoldenafrica/
- 6 Line Wrasse http://www.marinecenter.com/fish/wrassereefsafe/sixlinewrasse/
- Valentini (Saddled Toby) Puffer http://www.marinecenter.com/fish/puffers/valentinipuffer/
- Neon Dottyback http://www.marinecenter.com/fish/pseudochromisdottybacks/dutoitipseudochromisredsea/
- Lawnmower Blenny http://www.marinecenter.com/fish/blennies/lawnmowerblenny/

oh yeah,

a special thanks to Everyone who has helped me with this hobby

The PSAS
Eric at Shark Reef http://www.thesharkreef.net/
Barrier Reef http://www.barrierreefaquariums.com/

Finn - my first Zoa's and softies
JNAROWE - knowledge and Beers
Sherman - Knowledge and Beers
CrashFireJoe - some LPS and my first SPS corals
ApolloTheSun - some SPS frags
LVSuckerFish - some parts to share with the community

you guys (and many more) have really helped me get my system up and going in the direction it is. I wouldn't have had nearly the enjoyment with this Hobby without the local reefers.

Sorry I didn't make the connection Russ... I was at the PSAS Frag workshop for a hour and a half sitting in front listening to Adam... he was great. I had to run to other appointments, I look forward to meeting you.

The tank is looking good Russ. I am sure the corals like the new lighting. When you are ready for more corals LMK.

everything is looking pretty good
(one piece of Monti is looking a little whiteish, I moved everythign down low)
we'll see how they do.

Russ

I'd love to have you over to check it out, and give me some feedback.

or M.T.W evening (6-8pm)
send me a msg.

I just moved some rockwork around and did a water change.....

not sure if the "Frag Rack" is up too high,
I'm a little afraid it may be getting too much light

here's the Valentini puffer hanging out at the Frag rack
he seems to think it's his personal "Buffet Table"
