Manta Ray released here today

After two years in captivity in Atlantis' 2.7 million gallon aquarium, Athena (the manta ray) was released back into the Atlantic Ocean. She had a 13ft wingspan at the time of release and was all a part of a research program. From when she was lifted out of the aquarium and placed in the ocean it only took only 90 seconds. If you browse my Bahamas thread in my signature you will see some pics in there of her swimming. They had two in there.

Anyways, thought I'd share the photos they put up of it.
