March Meeting

I'd like to see if Mark is available to do this first, if not, I'll commit. Though I may not make the meeting itself. This week my son started having seizures, and I want either myself or my husband available at all times in case something happens.

Last night he had a seizure in the bathroom and I couldn't get to him. He's 6'2" and 250 and was wedged up against the door. Blood was running under the door (from where he'd fallen and hit his face) and there was nothing I could do. I called the fire department and paramedics in case we had to cut the door down and because all the blood scared the hell out of me.

Honestly, getting through the tests and getting him stabilized is about all I can think about right now.

Hey Alice we can figure something else out. Take care of your boy! I will recruit Shauna to make maps, I'm sure she will do that. She's interested in helping here and there and here is a perfect opportunity.

Thanks Colleen. So far just waiting on blood and EEG test results which is frustrating; MRI still to come. He hasn't had another seizure since the last big one though, so that's something.

Steve is working Saturday night, so I wouldn't be comfortable being gone from home that night, but I can help out during the day if needed. Mark, how are things with your car?

I'm trying to work on a few people... but everyone is busy. I even asked Cy if he would be available to pick him up, but he's got a family deal going on.

I can't even find anyone to make maps. It kind of annoys me with the membership, they want the big shindigs but getting them to help is something else.

I plan to talk about that when I get my nerve up.

Ive asked Shauna to do the maps, waiting to hear back from her.

We need some confirmation on who's picking up Dave!!

I actually asked Cy, seeing how he is going to get involved I thought hey.. but he's got a family function.

I also need someone to do the maps, I asked in the main forum and no one offered to. It bugs me the members can't help out a bit... ok I had to say that. I have PM'd Shauna to see if she will but haven't heard back.

Mark, are you on board for the pick up and the day's acitivites????

Well, as long as my car will be fixed by then (and it should be) I can pick Dave up unless we hear from Mark. Someone tried to steal my car last night - punched the lock and the ignition - but locksmith will be here tomorrow morning.

I just can't seem to get a break lately!

Colleen, I'll print the maps up tomorrow night - how many do you think?

Well shauna is going to to the maps from her house to Dangs then to BCC. I asked someone else to do them from Jesse''s to Shaunas but haven't heard back yet. So maybe you won't have to do any of them... I'll let you know

Steve, do we have raffle tickets, drinks, etc for the meeting? Will you be there?

Well I know that I can make it to Dang's around 4:30, but I can't stay for the actual meeting. So I can bring raffle tickets and the cooler full of drinks and hand them off to someone to take to BCC or I can drop them off at BCC after Dang's.

Pick Up Change Of Plans

Ok Mark and ALice..

I hate last minute changes and fooling around...

Eric (Salsaking) called and said he and Dave were talking and Dave suggested Eric and Paul come pick him up. They will meet up at Jesse's place at noon and begin the tour.

Reed/I thought it was a relief so that's the plan.

Alice or Reed, I never heard back on the member who was going to make the maps from Jesse's to Shauna's so if you could make 8 or so that would be great. Shauna is making maps for the rest of the tour.

See ya at the meeting or Dang's depending.

We need tickets for the frags Dang is donating (please charge for the tickets as he wants it for a fund raiser.. . ) I may not make it to Dang's not sure how my time is going to work.

With Eric/Paul getting Dave I wasn't planning on going on the tour (just not a big fan and I have work...paid work...to do). I plan to be at Dang's though.

I'll have the red roll of tickets that can be used at Dang's and then someone can take them to BCC for the skimmer too.

sorry you guys,
my internet was out until about 15 minutes ago, my car is still in the shop, so i have to borrow my x wifes car, but she wont be back until this afternoon so i will barely be able to make the meeting. mabye dang's too if im lucky

and im really sorry to hear about your son alice, it's so nerve wrecking when your kids are sick, i hope he gets better soon.
