Hey Brad, How far away from the water surface are you lights? I am converting my 75 to 2x 250 mh hamilton 14k. I am waiting for the stain to set before polyurathaneing my new canopy. I have 16" so about a 12" window of distance from water I can play with. As a matter of fact, I may start a thread about it. Thanks Man, Steve.

8-9 inches. had to get out the tape measure. I have been thinking about the 14k as well. we should ask chuck how they have been going since he has been running them and he ran ushio's for so long.

I spent a very long time on Sanjays light comparison pictures. The 14k is the one I thought looked the best. Got my shipping conformation today. Thanks man, that was my plan too. I figured about 9", I wanted to know what yours were, because your tank is looking very good, LOTS of color. Steve
