Wait before buying the Neptune system. I have the JR and it works but there is sooo much more coming to the product line with the new Apex. Its simply amazing what it can do..

Take a look at it here.

WOW those are nice!
Everything I need for 500!! SWEEEEET
I still want a DUAL RANCO for temp control
Dwayne should I get this for PH control ????

The Apex has alot of failsafes. For example, if the power goes out on the head unit GFI, you can program any number of outlets to turn on, or remain on depending on what you want the tank to do while the main computer is shut down. Like I said. Its a pretty amazing unit. I know one of the Beta testers thats been running sims all summer and has finally put it to work on his 180 and was just talking about it and checking it out yesterday. If I had the $$$ I'd be pretty tempted to pick one up.

Oh BTW, I have the AC Jr. I would at a minimum recommend the ACIII or PRO for your system.

I
If I use the ranco and leave the return pumps on separate timmers and plugs I'm safe and will be able to sleep at night...

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that sentiment either. I'm right there with you brother...........

I like what I read about the APEX system but I also read they were having troubles with the programming and that is why they have been on Pre-Order for 6 months now.
