Hey think I can get a royalty for advertising all those name brands in the pick to fund the project? hahahaha

I wouldn't take money Gabby! I would do it aslong as you paid for the wood. Just don't expect it to be done in a hurry hehe.

ohh yeah that'll be sweet :) and may be a box or two of beers (i'd buy them imported from the Bahamas :D ) just to make sure the stand and us can hold anything :D

Ok well, here are some more pics of whats going on with the stand. Again, you can't see much progress from last week. Its been alot of sanding and routing lately. This week I got the facings done. A few headaches along the way. It seems the frame I built was still a little green when I put it together. I have a bit of warpage. It's not so bad i can't deal with it, but makes for a hard time lining things up and have to spend extra time shaving parts down to make them fit properly. All in all I am very happy with it. Well here are the pics I have for ya.

Ahh Sweet, the hard work will pay off in the finished product, your work looks really professional.

Thanks! For as crappy as my tank looks I'd like to have the attention elsewhere hahaha kidding. As with any job we do, there are alot of things I would do diffrently next job. Next job is going to be a storage cabinet.

Looks great Detri! I've never seen so many clamps on one stand in my life!(LOL) Can't wait to see the end product!

that looks really kewl Ron !!! don't listen to krish hehe he's just mad because he hasn't had any kids niquil :D ...just joking i guess i need to tooth brush my teeth :p.

Well it's been a few weeks since I have been able to get to work on my stand. I finally got to this past weekend.

FFrankie, Yea i did decide on the color this week. I diecided to go with a 2:1 Golden Oak/Cherry mixed stain. I get a deeper brown than red look, rather than a deeper red.

Anyway here is the progress so far. The first 2 show the drawer, not glued yet, I made to go in the bottom of the stand. The third is top with the maple trim on, four is a door and the drawer face.
