So as some of you know, I sold my 39 gallon about three weeks ago, due to a new arrival that will be here in June (or God help me, NOW would be great also).
So I thought to get out of the hobby for a few months, till I get used to the baby and all, but prolly not even 24 hours after I departed with my tank, was I regretting it, and missing it :(
So with Lorries help, I'm a proud owner of her pico tank!!!! I can't wait to have it stocked with some zoas, rics, and a couple of other things (maybe.... - depends on how much will fit in and how much cashola ill have left after buying diapers :)
So my first thought was to paint the stand, but on the second thought ill do it during summer time, for now this will do...
I'm getting my piece of live rock or maybe two on Sunday!!! Yeay!!!cant wait!!! And then we'll see how we're gonna due with the cycle. Hoping it won't be a long one......

I am looking so forward to seeing what you do with it.
So glad you like it. It looks great on that stand too. Probably the easiest tank to move when you get the other stand painted and ready for it. LOL!

RBTA, sounds great!! But unfortunately this tank is a wee bit small for it, I think. But THANK YOU for your generosity!!!!!!

Lorrie I'm ready to see how it turned out also!!! So black sand for the bed (already washed and dried) ready for water and rock!!
Should I add some macro algae/chaeto now also?!

I'd wait to see how the cycle goes. Unless you have some already, I dont think it would matter if you add it now or in a few weeks.

Estonian,

then how about some frags of metallic hammer??? they are in my main tank right now, but really too small for my tank..again, no charge....you might be able to see them on my webcam..front center of the tank...

let me know.

You are sooooo awesome!!!! It will all depend on what I get from Lorrie :) how much room ill have left, and then it will depend if I'm ever up north. I saw your pictures of the tank, looks pretty amazing!!!! Love all the fish u have!!!!!

estonian,

no worries...can meet at BRA if you like...it is about 30 mins from my house....by the time u r ready, I will have added several more large angels to the tank....:)

just let me know...

Ena,

Nice meeting you. I'm Kirk the one with a very large RBTAs that I can't get rid of...LOL LOL LOL...

Is this your first child?

coral frenzy is good, but be careful you dont use too much..my experience is it can cause algae bloom in the tank..

with doing water changes weekly, you wont need to feed much. Id say alternate them, very little once a week at most the day or two before the next water change.
