Has anyone tried this stuff? I'm looking for something to keep my tangs grazing without having to constantly put seaweed in the tank. They go through 4 sheets a day, and I'm hoping to save a little money.

Does the grazer stay fairly solid until it's been devoured? I don't want something that will get squishy after a couple of hours and just float off. The idea is to keep them busy, not to give them something they can consume in an hour! Please share any experience or ideas! Thanks in advance! :)

Following along, would also love to find something to keep my Tangs busy grazing for more than 30 minutes. Have not looked into it yet so how is the pricing on these ??? Is it a bulk package ???

Cheers, Todd

Looks like there are 12 rings in a container for $16.99. But it does look like there's a bigger container for $32.99 that is 290g vs. 120g. So maybe 25 or 30 rings?

I would be impressed if this lasted for 4 hours in my tank. I have some BIG tangs and now an algae eating parrot! They are a little spendy, I would need the 290g. I'm seeing those for around $33. I'm not sure how many grazers come in that container so I will need to try and find more info on the internet. Either way I think I would at least break even on my fish food budget, and my tangs would be able to graze longer. They are supposed to be very nutritious also, so it isn't just an empty activity item like romaine or whatever else people give their fish to graze on.

Ami,

yeah. i read that...i would like them to clarify that statement though..seems suspect to me..
