New Tank For Jidz

Okay im about to get all the gear (PVC tubin) ready to do my CL on the 220g, can anyone tell me or give me a link to all the materials needed? Thanks! -Jidz

Jiddy, when you get your tank & ready to stat plumbing the thing lets us know, sketching out a plan somehow & posting it will save you headaches big time. Then go to home depot or lows & purchase PVC pipe, glue, cleaner etc. You need to consider what size pumps your planning to get, how big PVC pipe you need, 1.5", 2" etc. are you drilling glass, acrylic, going over the top this is lots to consider if you want to get it right or close as you can the first time around, you always learn as you go, at some point you will have to jump in and start cutting PVC, then gluing together which once done it is done you mess up your back at it cutting off pieces and starting over lol.

Mine is only 4" and I regret that almost daily! Atleast 6" -10" from the wall.

Thanks Doni, i will be goin 6in if i have the space, these base houses are so small, but oh well, we just found out today that good ole' Rumsfields has put my base on the closure list anyways! Hey maybe ill get set to washinton B!

Congrats Jidz,

You guys have some crappy water out that away. I checked my water the other day, tds 34. After my ro runs for a few mins it is 0 and the di catches everything before that happens. So you still need some help w/ that plumbing?

Jiddy your wife lied. You need at least 10 inches in order to fit all the plumbing back there. You'll be surprised at how much room a closed loop takes up.
