hello everyone

I bought a used octopus 3000 and it came with a temp probe. I put the probe in two different cups of water that were different temps and my reading is the same. Is there a way to fix my problem or do i need to buy a new probe? do i even have a problem? is it not suppose to change that fast. It move back and fourth in the tenth decimal but that's it. I bought both the orp probe and the ph probe but not the temp probe brand new. Are there temp probes interchangeible or do i need to order an octopus one online. DO you know a good place to get one. I ordered the other two from marine depot i think. They had great customer service. It's just that i dont want to spend 120 on a temp probe

THanks for your time.
