Josh, hang in there. We are working on the date and it WILL be posted here when we have it firmed up. I know you are anxious, as are we to post the date, but we are working as fast as we can.
Gabriela: Bring the coral. I'm sure someone at the event will help you with fragging it.
Also, remember everyone that this event is the first event of the new membership year. So annual dues will be collected at the event.

i know this is a frag swap , but i was wondering if we are allowed to bring fishes that we might want to trade

I think this is possible.... what happened to me before is I already posted the fish I want to trade... and people will let you know if they want it or not or if they want to buy it or not...
Then all you have to do is bring it and wait for that person...
It happens to corals too.... so they will post what they have and people will have dibs on it...

I guess in that case... i have a bicolor pseudocromis, he's been living in my sump for quite while, he's agressive, so he can't be around clown fishes unless they are bigger than him, the same with damsels. He's very cute and i wasn't planning on giving him away, but i feel bad that he's living there, he's very healthy.
I would like to trade him for a little soft coral or mushrooms

I want to be there. I really liked last years event, still have some of the frags growing.
Will there be any used equipment there for sale or trade (ie Kalk reactors, sumps, Iwaki pumps, etc) for us guys trying to upgrade little by little?

me and a friend are woundering if we half to be members to attend i got a bucnch of kenya tree thats doing well and would like to swap we are thinking about becoming members soon also are there frags for sale at the event

oh ya and i'll be bringing some zoos (i guess with white dots in the middle, a little bit of the purple ones), kenya trees.

Yes you need to be members to participate in our events. There are some really simple reasons for this; We need to have some income as a club to pay speakers like Anthony Calfo, Jon Warner, and others to come and speak. It also ensures that everyone that participates shares the burdon of costs. I hope you can understand this. The good news is that the frag swap is our annual renewal of membership so you would get a full year membership if you joined there. And finally, as far as frags for sale...you can bet on that one. There are always beautiful (even some rare) corals for sale.

The Frag Swap will be at Paul Hamby's house in Kent (this is the current plan). We will provide more details as they are available. We need to work out some of the details with Paul and his wife before we can move forward. It's a lot to ask to let all of us crazies into a person's home for a day.
