QT for Acro Eating Flatworms

Oh, and even non-acros should now be QTed, IMO. I have the non-acros (from the infested tank) in a separate QT as a precaution against any wandering AEFWs or accidental egg laying on the coral. I'll do this for a couple of weeks, giving any potential eggs a chance to hatch out, and die off from starvation.

If I get an opportunity, I'll take a picture of the two QTs I have set-up.

Just as a precaution against any eggs being on there. My thoughts are to get rid of the eggs as best as I can, to keep the emerging flatworm population down enough that it can be easier to deal with. The eggs are nearly impossible to remove, so the ones I can't get I cover with superglue gel.

Nikki why do you remove the plug or base?

Those things are terrible. Their usually porus and bring all sorts of hitchhikers and unwanted algae. I move mine to magnets and stick them to the back of the tank until I figure out where I want them and to keep them off the rock until they get used to the tank.
