I'm looking for a quite pump. currently i'm running Panworld 200PS produce about 1500GPH. But it's a little noisy.
Any one know any quite external pump?
any one has experience on: Reefflow Dart, Blueline Velocity T4, Red Dragon?
Thanks in advance.

I current use a Poesidon P4, which is the same as the Velocity T4 I believe. I think they are all made by Laing.
It's my main return pump on my 240.
The P4 is absolutely silent. You've heard about people describing a pump so quiet you have to put your hand on it to see if it is running? These are those pumps.
I've used the P4, P3, and P2 pumps.
I love em.
BUT, they are one of the pumps which will add some heat to the water because they are water cooled.
A small fan works well dealing with the heat issue.

I think I read that they don't make/sell it anymore.
I did see a thread where someone found a source for the Laing pumps. But the price was really high.
It's been ages since I saw that thread and wouldn't know where to find it.
Every once in a while you see them for sale on reef central.

Laing makes and sells a lot of pumps for spas.

After looking around a little, that pump is the same as the P3.
Just a little over 800gph

The Red dragon pumps are expensive but are very quiet and will last an easy ten years without any wear whatsoever.
I'm currently running a GenX PCX55 and will replace it with a DC pump sooner than I like.
