Ok so after my RBTA split, everything seemed to be doing ok. The baby nem is actually doing really good, but I'm concerned about the mother nem. I came home yesterday and its attached to the wall, and has been since the split. And I say it fall to the sand, and the foot of it is not looking good at all. And it on the side of where it split. It's in the corner of my tank, and not getting good enough light, kinda in the shade. Any suggestions

How long ago did it split? It's typical for them to be reclusive for awhile, while healing. Don't make any flow or lighting changes until after it's completely healed and has moved back to a more stable location. Give it the best possible water quality and it'll be just fine.

They split like 2 weeks ago, I snagged some pics.

So the top light colored one is the baby nem, the bottom nem is the mother.

And the second pic is of the second foot I'm guess the nem now has after the split, And probably is what I saw shrank up, after it fell off my acrylic wall of my jbj.

Looks ok, just don't bother it. If it starts to bleach or stays closed for a while then you may have a problem. Its not a common occurance but the mother or clone can die after a split. Just let it be....

Agreed...looks fine with me...let nature take its course and dont anything yet...

Yeah um... Haven't done anything and now look.

That was the baby, something came out from It's mouth, the clown grabed it, and now its looking in bad shape.

I guess I don't understand why its even happening, because everything else is doing fine, the mother nem is doing fine. The torch is doing fine. My GSP is doing fine, My jasmine polyps are fine, now my Duncan are closed up no idea why. I'll test my water again. But I only dose nano a and b that's it.

I agree with that... Nems occasionally poop and deflate them selfs in the process which makes them almost look like they are sick or dying. Just play it out. Should be ok in a couple of days.

How long ago did it split? The mouth looks like it's already made it's way to the middle.
