Hi I'm wondering if any of you have taken a prefab refugium and reworked the plumbing pieces to be slightly different? I have a large cpr fuge that I don't want to part with, but it doesn't fit my tank as is. I can get it to hang on the back, but the pipe that should connect to the pump has to be turned to the side out of the water. I would like to elongate the pipe possibly with black flex hose and connection piece. On the side with the output the bulkhead has to stretch creating a pretty big gap. I'm wondering if I can use multiple foam washers/spacers to create a seal, or do I need to find a longer pipe outlet?
