sad news..

I wanted to let everyone know that posted so sweetly to my mothers fall and hip surgery, know that she died this past saturday. She had just seen her ortho doc last thrusday and saturday morning I had to go see why she hadn't gotten up yet. She must of died overnight sometime.

This is so hard and I hope to be back but for now I'm not sure about anything..

You are such a wonderful person, I can only imagine how wonderful your mom must have been to bring you into this world. I want to Thank each of you for posting these really nice words. In the times when we need each other I have always found out how good each of you are. I can't say it hasn't been the hardest thing I have ever gone through and will go through but I'm hanging in. Least I think I am. Yesterday was the worst so far but today has been much better. Thankfully...

Hi. Im sorry to hear about your mom. My grandmother passed away a few months ago and the following helped my mom out a lot. Hope it helps you:

I am standing by the seashore.
A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze
and starts for the blue ocean.
She is an object of beauty and strength,
and I stand and watch until at last she hangs like a speck of white cloud
just where the sun and sky come down to mingle with each other.
Then someone at my side says :
- 'There she goes!

Gone where?
Gone from my sight - that is all.

She is just as large in mast and hull and spar
as she was when she left my side
and just as able to bear her load of living freight
to the places of destination.
Her diminished size is in me, not in her.

And just at the moment when someone at my side says:
- 'There she goes! ',
there are other eyes watching her coming,
and other voices ready to take up the glad shout :
- 'Here she comes!'
