Yup, as you may already know I'm downsizing, I guess it is a better option than quitting!:doubt: Things have been really crazy for me, I can't do what I was intending so I decided to Downsize!

I ended up getting a RedSea Max! I relocated my entire ManCave & have it Temporarily on a table. My plan is to get it going the sell the equipment & stuff from what I don't use on this new tank. I will eventually modify the stand I built & re-use it, believe it or not it should work out nicely. I hope the equipment sales pays for the new tank at least LOL! I have water in it & soon to have it full & running, like tomorrow I'll be running salt. I'll review my opinions on a few quirks & rave the few things I couldn't find in most other tanks similar!;)

Oh Yea, Pics & more Pics to come also!! :p

Well it's good to see that you're not quitting. Those RSM tanks are sweet looking tanks. I can't wait to see what you do with yours.

Tank has Salt in it as we speak! :)
Probably tonight Live sand will be added!

Small update!;)

Well spent a good part of yesterday taking down the last fish & corals from my 125g & transferring everything to the new RSM! Sold off the Tonomi, sixline & a few others, I got only three fish now! I still need to sell the rest of my LR & the Clam. I'm thinking of buying a few pieces from DeepwaterRocks & see how those do!

Thanks guys, yup & Tunze or something might be a good addition, also I just purchased a piece of Rock from Deep water rocks, it will make like a rock ledge in the back, held on with a powerful magnet. Can't wait to see that!
On a sad note, I sold my Baby Clam that Pam got for my B-day, without the halides, I didn't fee safe keeping it with the PC-T5's, just not enough to be worth the risk for the little fellow.

Bummer on the clam, but probably in your best interest. I see you switched to the dark side with all that sand in there

You just had to get that shot in, didn't you???:D:D:D:D:D

I noticed that too, far be it for me to keep my trap shut about that. I am finding that BB is not as bad as I thought, but I think Scooter did it as a maintenance thing, I may be incorrect.

What??? Scooty wanted more maintenance???? :p If it was for maintenance, then Scooty, just remember "out of sight out of mind" doesn't work with detitus. ;)

If you noticed, it is very thin, should be easy to vacuum & I'll just replace as needed. I already have a flow storm though & didn't add more power yet:D
I'll probably end up gutting the hood, put my MH 250w over it, add an ATO with a 40g reserve, a 7" fan over the water surface, Eheim canister for media, new Tunze skimmer, Ranco Heater controller, you see where this is going?:p

Cool Scooter! I really like that rock work you have going on there. I look forward to seeing this puppy become a reef. Any plans on a chiller? The nano chillers have come a long way with being cheap to run and quiet. What ever you end up doing i know this thing is going to rock!

Well a little update, I love changing out water in this tank, it is just so much earier to deal with, hope I'm not barkign too soon!:p

mkay, so, your stuck putting a remora on there for now, sad yes, but we'll squeeze every little ounce of power out of it...lol

so you have 3 1/4" by 10" for space to accomodate a skimmer pump, not my first choice, but alot of people have reported success with a mag 5,
there is no close eheim pump, just the 1250 @320gph, and the 1260 @600gph, which i know is too big anyway...

ideally we need a pump with a small outlet and high head pressure at about 500g, which the mag 5 provides us, but it might as well be a heater and a white noise maker too, so me no likey...
mabye someone else can chime in with an idea??
i was thinking mabye quiet one 2200, but it's too big after i checked.
no freakin rio..., sicce would be too expensive, who am i forgetting??
