Hey RF,
I have finally got my 150 gal up and running. Yes I know. Can we get a collective "About Time"? Well this is supposed to be a journey and not a race. After better than a year of assorted tank moves, home remodeling, and wallet draining, the 150 is going through alge cycles. I started to add a cleanup crew of assorted snails. Here's a few pics.
Scott:D

Thanks Gabby. Personally I am not quite done with the aquascaping. I need to open it up a bit more. Just have to get the tank going.
Scott:)

Looking good Scott. Can't wait to see when you add corals and fish. What's the longterm vision for the tank?

He forgot to add that we can't vacuum while the lights are on or use the xbox while the chiller is on; etc. He has a daily programming schedule for downstairs... :) I think I heard him say he had a line on an electrician... ::)

Hey Reed,
Thanks, The long term vision apparently has been to get the tank running with LR and salt water. Hopefully I will be buying sps for the tank in the not too distant future. As far as fish go, All that is a certain are a pair of tru-percs and a purple tang. I'm taking suggestions for any other tank mates.
Thanks again, Scott

i'm still a ways behind you - hopefully after the 1st of the year i'll have my new tank up.

i wish i knew a good electrician dood, i really hope you get that fixed.

Wow, that is great that you finally got it running! It is going to be a fab tank, look at that rock it is awesome. Well worth the wait, and I am so glad that you got around to it. Here are a couple questions.

How far away is your tank from your main CB panel?
Is your main CB panel outside the house?
Do you have a crawl space?

Depending on the answers to these questions I can help you with your electrical.

Wow..

Awesome looking Tank!. The last time I saw this, it had fresh water in it. The rock looks awesome. What type of rock is that? Those are nice big pieces.

I never thought I'd see the day..... 'bout time you got this thing put together! I was beginning to wonder if you'd ever complete the recovery steps for dry tank syndrome. :D

It's good to see some progress. I am also curious as to what kind of rock you got. Looks great!!!
Yep it's Pukani LR Charlie. Yea I'm really glad to see some progress also. :)
Thanks for chimeing in Nikki. This DTS recovery is gonna drive me to drink.:D
Thanks all for the well wishes. Hey Elmo you know the door is always open.
Same for you Gabby. You don't even need to bring cookies..........but it never hurts......lol.
On another note. Tank stocking.... This will be an sps tank primarily. I stated earlier that as far as fish go, the only "for sure" animals are a pair of tru-percs and a purple tang. I really want a Sohol but have decided there just won't be the swim room. As the tank matures, thinking of a Mandarin and possibly a school of Anthius. Any other suggestions?
Thanks, Scott
