It might but you'll lose most of the fish doing so. I also do not think copper or hypo will be of any use here unless you can specifically ID C. irritans as being part of the problem. I can assure you it is not the sole cause of this problem. Your fish must undergo a formalin or aldehyde treatment. If C. irritans is also suspected, treat the fish with Cupramine and do formalin dips seperately. These treatments must be carried out in a QT environment.I assume this is a type of disease that just won't run itself out?
