Wow your Cap's sure are growing quickly! Don't worry about hijacking the thread either, great pics are just what we need around here IMO. Great inspiration.
Thanks for the kind words. It's a 75 gallon glass tank. No sump or refugium...what you see is what you get on my tank. It's viewable on 3 sides (2 long sides and one end) as a room divider. I am running an ampmaster 3000 on a closed loop for circulation (I may add more in the future once I get rid of the deep sand bed). I have 2 250W 10K metal halides and 4 36" VHO actinics (although I have been without these for about a month now and don't seem to have any problems).
I have to thank Chuck and Mike (and others from the PSAS at the frag swap) for their gracious contributions to my coral livestock. They were instrumental in establishing my tank with both corals and great advice. Everyone in the PSAS has been superb in getting me from the newbe stage 2 years ago to a pretty educated reefer now.
Thanks to all that have taken the time to help me out. I hope I can do the same for the next guy in line.
Hey Reed ... your tank is looking real good ... Guess what? I am thinking about 20k Radiums again ... I put one on the left side today to see how it grows on me ... and to see how the colorations of the coral come out too ...
Paul, that tank is continuing to blossom. A tough call for you if you want to even touch it for moving into the next room. Remember though, you have a deep sand bed in there
I seen Toms Tank in person tonight and let me say the pics do it no justice. Everything in his tank seems to be thriving and growing like weeds. Just be sure to save some frags for me when im up and running again.
