Well lets see here, lights are done and installed in the hood, plumbing is complete, and well water starts tonight. My only problem is how am I going to suspend my hood again. Not sure how I am going to do it. Last time I had schemed up a cable system attached to 3 conduits that held them nicely. I was looking to do it a different way to make it look like it is trully floating . Any ideas out there. Anyone.

NOT my idea, stole it from a build here on RF. He used a Wall Mount TV bracket.

Those types of brackets can hold alot of weight. You may need two of them.

If you mounted two indiv. units you would be able to swing them from side to side also.
Again I cant take the credit, but I am glad to pass on the idea. I thought it was ingenious.

Pics will go up later tonight. Sand and rock is in as well. Just need to figure out these damn lights but Peppies stolen ingenious idea will have my lights up in no time.

Me too, it has been a long haul but it is almost over. Still need to get a chiller for the 320 days of heat here in Arizona. But I figure get the water in and let the rock cook. Talking about the rock, I got it from Marco rocks. I love the rock. Wife gave me an allowance for stocking the tank. So it is going to be slow and steady

Are the brackets for your hood just upsidedown shelf brackets? Are they going to be able to hold the weight?
The rock looks awesome. Heard nothing but good things about Marco.
Do we get to see the underside of the system??
BTW Why would a contractor spend the money on installing a FIRE PLACE in Arizona???
