No animals were hurt during the making of this documentary.

My name is Floyd Anderson and I approve this message

So I went out and could not fight the urge. Water all tested out, and needed something in the tank. So I bought a few Zoo's to see what happens. One day in and they look awesome. Time will tell. I will post pictures in a little to show them off.

I can't seem to figure out how to take pictures with this new lighting. I will have to figure it out. Actinic shots are almost impossible. The zoo's are doing good though and the tank seems to be rocking along. I recenlty ordered some copepods and amphipods for the display. I figure if I start seeding the display now before the fish maybe they will have a better chance of multiplying.

Floyd,

make sure you QT all fish to prevent any parasites entering your pristine system.

Kirk, I have not set up a QT tank yet. I do need to set one up. I understand the importance of them, just never had one set up. So still trying to figure out where I am going to put one at. With the amount of parasitic bringers of doom that I had in my last tank, that should have been the first thing I set up.

I have been looking for a generator. I stumbled across Bloom energy, and their bloom box. It is a SOFC, that uses natural gas to produce electricity. Absolutely amazing. Now all I need is a mere, $800,000.00. Does anyone have extra change laying around I can have.

I did and wow...some futuristic stuff..would work well in this state with all the "green" people that live here...

If I had the money, I would like to try solar skylights to get all my electricity for the house, but I dont know how (or if) it would draw enought electricity to run a 1000 gallon water system.

So 800K to provide electricity to the house..price needs to come waaay down to justify ROI for the common folk.

It is working out pretty good. Finally got some corals going. How is your monstrosity doing. You need to post some pics.

So I find this build thread, read through months of post and get to the end and no wet FTS? :blah:
