Last night I opened up my aquarium stand doors to find about a 1 inch layer of water in the bottom. I look inside to see my Calcium reactor effluent return was outside my sump. I cleaned up water inside stand and went to bed.

I woke up to find water in my stand again this morning. I did my work asap at work and took a half day to figure out what happened. I believe the culprit was my calcium reactor.

I removed calcium reactor and cleaned up water. I put a fan on and I am on watch right now.

I just got my tank parameters going good. I figured I needed new bulbs. I planned on buying bulbs. I got a ton of frags from friends again. I am crossing fingers. :|

all good again, thanks

So how did everything work out?

It was my calcium reactor leaking big time. I took a half day off work yesterday to make sure it was nothing else. I have fans running to dry out my stand. Thanks for caring. :)

Ed-

If you want to sell that cube, feel free to give me a call...you know the number. I would be more than happy to take it off your hands for a good price:D.

Are you going to get the chiller fixed? I always need something to tinker on if your going to toss it.

Jeff, sometimes I wonder.

Chad. I think I blew a capacitor on chiller. I hit it with water (Doh!) as I was cleaning and repairing side door on patio. I am not sure what I am going to do with chiller right now. I am going to take a look at it first. If I do decide to toss it. I will let you know. The first thing I saw on my chiller as I started tearing it down was calcium build up inside the 3/4 inch lines. The 3/4 inch line was almost plugged with corline algae. I am not sure how coraline algae can get past a Mag 7 pump. Coraline algae and calcium build was on the other side of pump between chiller. So cleaning the finns and fan on chiller did not do me too much good because water was not moving like it should have through chiller.

Hey Ed sorry for your bad luck. Im sitting here at Paul's house babysitting his system while he is on vacation till Saturday. So far all is good here. If you ever need any help Im only on the other side of the mountains. I was thinking about coming out to visit/tank help anyway. Let me know if any weekends work for ya. Mike
