the more I look at the challenges of installing a sump on my 55, the more I realize that this kind of solution would be best at my amateur hobbyist level. I will be staying away from SPS's and sticking with softies and LPS's. The Large model is 25" long, is that too big for my tank? they have a medium and small model as well.

I am being way too analytical about this and need some helpful advice...thanks alot

I have a large CPR fuge. I really liked it when I had it on my tank. I did install a sump, and I am debating whether I should sell the fuge or hang it on my sump as a habitat for gentle creatures :)

I also have the large CPR Aquafuge on my 46 bowtank and love it. One advantage I see over sump/fuges is that the water is pulled from the tank and pushed from the fuge instead of the other way around. This allows for more pods to make it from the fuge to the display tank alive, without going through the pump first.
