    LED's are really nice from what i have read. There low heat, and low watt. Though they tend to be more $$$$. Some people on RC have experiance with LED's I thought that i might try one on a smaller tank to see how they do compared to t-5's.

    Sorry to hear about your loss of corals. Its really hard to stop RTN when its happening. Where is your salt level? and have you calibrated the spectrometor? another question, are you letting your new water mix over night? What kind of salt are you using? Best of luck to ya.

    Welcome to the world of salt water! Scoot hit the nail on the head! i would clean the tank out with vinigar real well, think of your long term goals and plan accordingly.     Placks Correct! Make sure it Pencils out time wise Vs The pocket book. If you short Fund the tank you can end in a dissaster. Plan out every detail. Skimmer, pumps, and lights. Happy reeffing! JUst take your time..... Mine took a year or so to build....had to eat top romen.lol
