    Explanation of internet pricing

The reason I'm in the hobby (besides the corals : ) ) is so I can to my LFS, talk shop, and purchase what I am actually looking at. The crew at BR are always a ton of help, and very friendly. Thanks for putting together such a great shop Cy and crew!

    What is this?

The yellow stuff is sometype of sponge. I have a lot of it down in my base rock for years now.... it's harmless. I'm not sure what the rest is.

    Help... Corcea disappeared overnight

Perhaps... but this was before they started to get in huge shipments of clams. Anyways, I'll be looking for another clam when I get home which is always fun! I'll swing by later this month.

    Help... Corcea disappeared overnight

I think this might be the case... you know those "feelings" you get right before you leave town for vacation? Well I had feeling my clam was not doing well even though it seemed fine. And I'm glad the clam was consumed so quickly as to not throw off my tank. Thanks Jan!

    Help... Corcea disappeared overnight

Yes... I got this one about a year ago from QTs, but since I've had it for so long I'm doubt the source has anything to do with it. The other clam was a rescue and I've had it for 8 months. I know something must have preyed on it, but what could devour a clam like that so fast has me confused...

Ha! Forgot to mention the shell is still there, but no meaty bits.

    Help... Corcea disappeared overnight

I'm wondering if anyone knows what would cause a 6 inch corcea to disappear overnight. I didn't see it happen since I'm currently in Hawaii, but my buddy who is watching the tank said one day it was there and the next it was cleaned out. So I'm worried about my remaining corcea. Here is a list...

    Jesse's Elos 120xl

It's looking so much better Jesse! You've done an awesome job getting everything back under control, and now you have a ton of experience to share with others. Anytime you want me to swing by and take some shots of the tank let me know. Congrats! Oh yeah... what did you decide on when I saw you...

Help! what do I do...small Gray starfish

I have a many of these in my system, and had never had issue with them eating any of my corals, soft or hard. They do love coraline and I have plenty of that in my tank. I wonder if people with a low coraline population experienced these Asterina starfish eating their corals?

... so I broke the ceramic rod on my Mag Drive

Thanks Jesse... I found this pump shop on 15th (Interbay) that said they can help order parts. I just need to bring in the model number and make and they will order what I need. Fingers crossed the prices are reasonable.

... so I broke the ceramic rod on my Mag Drive

Does anyone know if these can be replaced and where to get them locally (Seattle)? Luckily I have a back up return pump or I'd be in trouble right now. Thanks all!
