    flat worms

Like Sid mentioned, bump up the flow if at all possible, but they will probably congregate to another low flow area. I tried the blue velvet nudi, but they don't hold on very well in high flow and can get sucked into powerheads easily. I lost a couple that way. Flatworm exit is ok, but you...

    eye surgry

I had mine done about 5 years ago and don't regret it at all. I was 20/400 in my left eye and 20/500 in my right. I still see 20/20 in both eyes after 5 years and it is so nice not to have to worry about contacts or glasses any more. Congrats on making the plunge.

    My 30g temporary tank

A couple updated pics. Duane, the scoly has rebounded and is doing well. Constant silverside feedings really made it heal up fast.

    55 gallon drums

I have one in my garage that you are welcome to. It could use a cleaning and the lid isn't quite a perfect fit, but if you want it it is yours. Jamie

trying to use a plasma tv for a macbook monitor

You might need to change a setting on the macbook to have it use an alternate display.

    New Addition

When I got that one, I was told it was a bonsai, but it never really colored up for me. It had some green polyps, but never the purple like it has turned for you. It is really looking nice.

    My 30g temporary tank

I got it from Nelson who picked it up from the lady Adam (myteemouse) found on Craigslist that had a whole bunch of the tanks. I searched for quite a while to find a tank this size. They are not very common.

    My 30g temporary tank

Yes it is. Unfortunately, it died quite a while back when it fell into a frogspawn.

    New Addition

Not quite. The Tyree has the bright orange base. This one never got that for me and the original colony didn't seem to have it either. The best I ever got mine was an orangeish brown. The rest of the corals you got from me look to be doing well, so maybe it will color up more for you.

    New Addition

Hey Travis. It is the Sunset Montipora that was originally sold by Atlantis Aquariums. It is different from the Tyree Sunset. The polyps are more green, but it doesn't have the bright orange base like the Tyree Sunset. I got the coral a few years back from another local reefer that had moved...

    My 30g temporary tank

Yeah, it wasn't looking too hot when I was in the middle of breaking the other tank down. It is much easier to take care of though. A quick 5g water change every weekend is much easier than toting 30g of water upstairs. This tank was my frag tank before, and I just couldn't tear everything...

    My 30g temporary tank

I took down my 120 about a month ago, but couldn't bring myself to be fully tank free. I ended up making my frag tank into a small display. Here are a couple pics. The tank glass and measures 24x24x12. For stocking, I have my pair of clowns, a peppermint shrimp and some of the corals left...

Next Coral Farmers Market in Portland?

I went to the one down in Portland last year. It was a lot of fun and there was some very nice corals to be had. I know I spent way too much money that day.

    New 120 gallon setup

Time for a quick update. I am going to take a break from the hobby for a while. Here are a few updated pictures of the tank. I will be posting threads with the livestock for sale in the next couple days. Left side of tank Center of tank Right side of tank

    xbox 360 live handle

Mine is CamulToe. It used to be ToeJam, but somebody reported that as offensive so they made me change it.

    Blue Velvet Nudi

I had a flatworm outbreak a couple years back and tried the velvet nudis. They chow down on the flatworms, but you can't really have any flow in the tank at all because they get blown around the tank and eventually end up chewed up in a powerhead. You just have to be really careful with them.

    My new coral

Welcome to the Rhizo club :) They are such a cool coral. I love feeding mine.

    Arrivals 6/8-6/12

Mine took a couple feedings to fully open. I think they just require some time to get fully settled in.
