    My sexy shrimp came over and was picking at the clam, so I decided it was time to pull it. I looked a little closer at the clam after pulling it out and it looked pretty bad. The tissue inside the clam was pretty much toast. :(

    I have had some that took a few days to open up. Most of the time, it is just a matter of a couple hours. With the ammonia & nitrite you have, they might take a little longer. Did something recently die in the tank?
