    Amp Master Pump

Well I took the pump housing to the hardware store. The only thing that seemed to be close was a 12mm x 1.75mm bolt. I don't want to use that so I still need to do some searching. A ball valve would be great if I could find one that was correct. DB

    The durso stand pipe gurgle?

Well here a question for those of you that use the Stockman standpipe. How did you make it and is it quiet. I purchased all the stuff to upgrade my durso to the proper size but the original tank builder did not make the overflow boxes big enough to handle the 1.25" pipes along with the .75"...

    Amp Master Pump

On the wet end of my dolphin 3000 there appears to be three spots that you could drill and place a plug in order to drain your pump. The holes have a guide hole drilled part way thru, and then the outside is reinforced including threads. Possible to put in a valve to drain the pump for...

    New Project 120

Well the leak is glued. We will see in the morning if it will leak anywhere else? Does anyone know on the ampmaster pump if you can drill thru the pump housing to place a drain plug in the threaded bosses. They appear to be guide holed and have a larger hole that looks like it would accept a...

    New Project 120

Well here is the latest update on the tank. All fish are eating like horses, and extremely active. Everything is going good with the tank. Today's little project was to get my Amp Master 3000 plumbed to the tank, since the tank got drilled and setup when I put it together. I'm really excited...

    O.K Here it is...Atlantis!

The wife has been wanting to go somewhere, I think that the destination has been located. I can picture it perfectly laying in the sun soaking up the rays, taking in the sites and pure relaxation. Enough to make me lazy thinking about it. Jason

    Algae

Water parameters are all good. Bio load is next to nothing (5 fish) The tank is still fairly new (3 months) The algea on the sand is brown. The algea on the glass is green and tough to scrape off (little round dots).

    Algae

My tank has become some what algea infested. That came out stronger than really needed. But I'm finding that I do get a fair amount of algae on the glass and occasionally am getting a light film in places on the sand. COuld this be do to the extent that the lighting is on. My lights usually...

    megaflow bulkhead question

Hey Brian, Check at Lowe's if you have one around you. They carry a ball valve/ union combo. It has a union on either side of the valve, so it would be no problem to remove the tank from the stand as long as the hole in the stand is large enough to allow the valve to pass thru. The person...
