what is this black snail without a shell?

i agree with the limpet it looks like a keyhole limpet. i havent seen them bother any corals before...........but keep an eye on it. also it could be a stomatella, black ones do have a black shell. however i believe that it is a limpet, a clearer pic will help.......

Help with macro algae ID (and what may eat it)

i didnt mean to imply he would only come out at night..........but they certainly march to the beat of their own drum. after about 4-6 weeks the one i had in my tank was out all the time, before that he would only come out a few hours a day. if you have a reef tank with lots 'o 'pods i wouldnt...

    Leopard wrasse trouble

in all my experiences personally and in the stores i've worked at leopard wrasses are notorious hiders....atleast for awhile. at home it usually takes them 1-3(sometimes longer) weeks to adjust to your "time". the internal clocks on leopards are really good......they run on their own "time"...

Tank mates Yellow assessor and chalk bass

i would agree that your tank would be plenty big......have you thought about a small group of chalk bass.....they do wonderfully in a small group(you might have to forgo the assesor). either way you should be fine. i have yet to see either two species be aggresive....with anything really. good...

    Please Don't Trade Red Bugs!

i'm new here but can anyone explain to me why you all WANT red bugs. why do you glorify the fact that someone has them and willingly tades them? i thought they were a bad thing to have, but after reading this thread it seems like im in the minority??? just a question.
