Google 'Water general RD-102' Should find all the info you need to replace the filters. Water General site also has user manuals. The part that is leaking appears to be a check valve. Not being from your area I would not know if you could get one locally but you might try a place that sells...
According to Icecap. . . "One ballast can operate any combination, up to 4 lamps, with a total not exceeding 440 Watts." So if your total watts does not exceed 440, I don't see where you would have a problem. Good luck.
You could give it a try. If by chance you got a 'bad boy' or girl, you could always call Super Nanny in and get her to straighten things out. Little 'air time' on ABC couldn't hurt your tank either. :)
Don't think that would be possible. According to the specs ... "Popular design that works by a special wheel inside the skimmer pump which chops the air and water into fine micro bubbles.
Special needle wheel produces more micro bubbles which highly increases the skimming ability compared to...
Not sure if I would recommend the Octopus for a skimmer. $340 seem like an awful lot of money for a skimmer that you would have to empty the collection cup on a regular basis. You may wish to check out the AquaC series as well. You can use external collection devices with them. I have used...
I was into Costco the other day and was looking at cameras myself. They have a Nikon D60 that comes with an 18-55mm lens and an 55-200 lens plus all of the normal goodies, for $699.00. Does anyone use one of these?
I used to be PDAJunkie because I wrote programs for the PDA Palm and did not want to change my name from other forums. Don't do programs anymore so finally decided to change my name, hence ReefJunkie.
Another way is to use bridal nettng with rubber bands. After they attach, just remove the netting. Here's a great link with pictures you may wish to check out. http://www.garf.org/MPegs/XeniaPropagation.shtml
A closed loop system does not originate from your sump. Are you wanting to know a good pump size for your return from the sump? If so, I use a ReeFlo Barracuda pump for my return and love it. It is very, very quiet and has a good head ratio. You may want to check that one out. Good luck.
I have a 75 gal which I drilled myself. You don't want to drill the bottoms as most are tempered. That included the AGA RR ones. I drilled the back with 5 holes, 2 returns and 3 outlets. I currently run a little giant 4 and little giant 3 for the closed loop pumps but if I did it again I...
IMHO AquaC EV-180! Just keeps skimming, and skimming, and skimming . . . :) I run mine with the mag 7 and have never had any problems with it. Have had it 3 years now.
