Spectra Pure RO/DI and Coleman 5 Gal Jugs
Spectra Pure RO/DI with Monitor. This is a 75 or 100 gallon per day unit. It worked very well for me. I'm out of the hobby now and need this gone. It will probably need new filters. They were still producing great water last time I used it. $40

It is a direct replacement. Many people sell them. Here's one:
SWC White Lightning Protein Skimmer pinwheel and venturi SWC Sicce pinwheel [SWC White Lightning pinwheel &ve] - $29.99 : SWC - Salt Water Connection, Protein Skimmers, Calcium Reactors, Filters & Lights
Why not try replacing those mesh wheels with some white lightning wheels? White lightnings don't have starting issues once you ware them in. That's what I did on my BM250.
2ea 250 watt halides over a 55 gallon tank is going to require a chiller. Do you have a chiller? Better factor that into the cost difference between halide an LED.
Look into the Stark Led's that barrier sells. They use Cree led's and are dimmable on the blue and white side plus the have a 5 year guarantee. I have one fixture over my 60 gallon cube and it covers pretty darn good, but I think I'm going to buy one more so I can grow whatever I want. So far...
Go with a Koralia 1 instead of a nano. I had a couple nano's in my solana and ended up having to upgrade to 1's. Nano's don't flow enough. Good luck on your solana. They are awesome little tanks!
I'm looking to buy a racoon butterfly to munch on my green hair algae. I was told there's 2 kinds of racoon butterfly, one that eats gha and one that doesn't. Is this true, and if so, how do I tell them apart.
Thanks in advance,
Darrell
Is there anything that will kill them? It must have been in my tank for a while and this is just the first time I've seen it so there's probably more :( It doesn't seem to be picking on my clams yet.
I was just watching my suncorals coming out and saw this thing making tracks across my sand floor. It is thin as a leaf and can contract and expand quite a bit in length. Can someone please tell me what this freaky thing is and if it's a good or bad thing?
Thanks in advance :)
