Hey trillyen, all the info you are asking for, well most of it is in this thread. you may want to read through it i tells a story about where he got it made but how he wouldnt recomend the builder to anyone else.

Wow, I feel like a real ass. I havent put any time into this thread lately, updated it, or thanked everyone for the kind words and complements.

Thanks everyone!

The shark is very happy and doing well. I have not lost any fish besides a blue spotted sting ray which became sharky snack. No more rays!

No way! You got a replacement ray and it got eaten??

Is there something about rays that makes them especially attractive as snacking material, or was it just in the wrong place at the wrong time?

Jan,

Anything in front on a shark is a snacking material. LOL..

As far as I am concerned, Mr. Shark can do anything its wants. :D:D

Trillyen,
I think the recommendation to read the thread was because Brett did not have a good experience with the tank supplier, in fact I think he was close to backing out. Once he received the tank it was not as ordered. I do not know if he would recommend this supplier.

Trillyen,

Agreed. Re-read the thread. IMO, Bow Valley Aquariums has very poor business practices. I would never do business with them.

Take this FWIW.

Amazing tank!

Wow! What an amazing thread & an amazing tank!

What a treat seeing your lionfish get his "teeth" and "tonsils" :) cleaned by your wrasse!!!

(oh, and thanks for the MH Ballast! I haven't tried it yet, but the quick connect does hook up to my fixture as is!)

Hey Brett, I didn't want to be one of the nay sayer's about your shark but this is what happened when my Mako out grew the 90 gallon!!!!!:mad:

Jeff..

Hey everyone. Sorry I havent posted in awhile. I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off.

The tank is really kinda a disaster. The shark is a garbage disposal. Eating an achillies, goldrim, powder blue, blue spotted stingray and clown trigger. He has grabbed onto the golden puffer twice but hasnt caused any damage. The puffer neither acted stressed or puffed up, and he continued to go after food once the shark had let him go. Im kinda at a cross road and unsure wether or not to add any fish at all regardless of size, and if I should even remove the current survivors.

The shark is obviously doing great. The lion is pretty much king of the tank. My tiny blue tang is supprisenly smart and probably has the least chance of being eaten. I still have the bannded catshark as well the moray, valingi tang and also my moray.

I added two cleaner wrasse three weeks ago and to my suprise both are alive and thriving. Every time I had ever added a cleaner wrasse to a reef it would disappear into the rocks within minutes for ever.

I actually have not lost any fish due to water quality or ich or any other issues besides being eaten alive.

I will take some pics this evening if I get a chance.
