This is my overflow box...

I have three kinda problems so far.
1. My tank temp dosent wanna go below 82°...and this summer heat dosent help.
2. I get micro bubbles when i feed or when the water gets to low in my return section of my sump.
3. Smaller fish are going through my overflow and getting caught.on the strainer. Killing them :"(
.... currently ive lost a chromis and 2 vlamingi tangs or however u spell it.

So im gonna add this neting to my overflow box kinda as a pre strainer...so that in hopes of any fish going over wont get sucked to death.
Im also hoping that swapping out 1 big external pump at a time will fix the other 2 problems im having.

If you take the bottom panels (or at least one of the bottom panels) off, does it do anything for the temp D?

O yeah i have em off and a big box fan blowing towards the sump area...still no less than 82°. Ive seen it in the 85° area.
I dont wanna cook my animals!

Go for it. Just have to find a circuit for it not on the tanks circuit.

Are the tiny fish jumping into the overflow or getting thru the slots. I put plastic mesh screen that I get at Joann's Fabric's over my overflows.

Ya i got some. Post above has a pic of it.
Gonna hopefully get some tank work done this weekend. Stain and maybe trim work. Than i need to CLEAN lol.
