Looking good dude! I was wondering what the heck that thing was behind the tank! A nice background would do the trick, but none of those petco decorative ones .

I have a background on it now. I also still have to take pics of the sump.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. My wife is happy but surprisingly commented on how many green and orange corals I have. I guess we need to buy some pretty blue, purple and red ones.

Damn instant reef!!!!

I was wondering if anyone was going to catch that. Yes, this went from FW to full blown reef in less than two weeks.

Surgically moving LR 10 minutes across town has its percs but boy did I work hard for it last weekend.

Blonde Naso Tang (starting to grow his streamers)
Tricolor dwarf angel
African Flame back angel
Flame Hawk
Long Nosed Hawk
Christmas Wrasse?
Lubbocks fairy Wrasse
Royal Gramma
Three small dark blue/black Damsels
and my old mandarin dragonet.
There is also a blood shrimp and skunk cleaner shrimp.

Most of these fish have been tank housed for a long time and all get along great.

I've been soldering like crazy for a couple days now. 168 Cree LEDs. Three colors of white, two blue, red, green, cyan and UV on three heat sinks and a bit of DIY frame. Every thing is working and has been checked for stray voltage. Now to mount the cooling fans and tune the seven drivers. I'll be hanging it some time this weekend.

Time for an update. I was messing with my wife's Christmas present tonight. A Canon T4i rebel. I must say WOW! Its ten time's the camera our old Canon is.
These are all straight from the camera with no editing or photo shop at all.

AFAIK it's a sinularia. My friend bought it about four years ago. It is a nice huge piece. I cant get a camera to get the metalic blue floresence to show up in any pictures.

did you fix these up at all? if not, then wow...nice camera...

Not a bit. I wanted to crop a couple of the pics but at the moment don't have any good photo shop programs on this newer computer and mostly I'm out of photography practice. Sadly, photobucket killed the clarity on a couple of the pics. The Ricordia for example, has zero distortion or blur fully blown up on my 24" monitor but when it posted here it just looks like a crappy pic. Not sure what happened there.
